Question by B.[DUB?]]: ?i need help on my fat thighs! how do i lose the fat on them??
i have been on a low carb, low fat diet since june 24 & today is july 20 i lost 23 pounds & i weigh 122 i use to weigh 145. anyway, i still have fat thighs, my legs are small but my thighs are fat. im 16 years old and im 5′1. i been using the bally total fitness thigh toner for 1week now everyday. so should i just wait the 3rd week && check for results or run the fat off? please help like seriously. i have lost weight everywhere else like in my arms and legs but not my thighs

walk an hour a day for a long while or run a little every day… just do some kind of exercise that utilizes your legs a lot.

    Good for you loosing all that weight! You should try doing lunges, there really good for your legs and they create muscle.

    Do the stair steppers! if you have them at your local gym. The eliptical machines are great as well!

    Is there such thing as fat on thighs? I think thighs are just muscle, so that’s a good thing right?

    Run a little bit and then go a little farther each day, pretty soon you will have toned thighs.

    zomg your not fat lol, but if you think you are then work on it with exercise but don’t expect immediate results either it will happen if u continually exercises.

    Do alot of excersise that excersises your thighs, like running, dancing (if you don’t like dancing then try DDR), walking, running/walking on a treadmill, biking, rollerblading, skating, etc, for 30-2 hours each day.

    Squats, squats, and more squats! They really work all the muscles in your legs. I’ve been on a diet too and my thighs are the tricky part for me. At first I couldn’t seem to lose the fat from them, but i started doing up to 300 squats in a day, and now my legs look great. I really recommend doing squats, I’m sure you will see results.     okay.
    so crouch down on the ground and take one knee and put it close to your body.put your hands either behind you or infront of you..
    then take your other leg and put it out strait then swing it out then back in.
    do this alot..
    i dont know if you will understand this but it works wonders!

    I run 2 miles a day and then do the elyptical 1 hour, 3 times a week. This is the best way that I have found to tone my thighs and butt. I am 5′2 and 107lbs. Make sure that you run in the morning though. You burn more calories/fat this way. Running at night only burns off the fat that you took in that day rather than the stored fat on your body that you would burn in the AM. Good luck!

    Unfortunately you can’t target weight loss..
    Your thighs may be genetic. I have thick thighs myself, and i’ve also lost weight in the past but the thighs never seem to go completely away to where i want them to be….

    The best you can do is just keep trying to lose overall body fat. Walking or running is good because it uses all muscles, if they still don’t go away just keep them fit and you’ll look fine.
